Ruben Centre, run by the Christian Brothers, provides education, health, financial and social services to children and families in the Mukuru slum area of Nairobi. Health services include an outpatient clinic, maternity unit, laboratory and ambulance services. An education department includes a primary school, a unit for children with special needs, and skills training to prepare adults for employment.
